"Poor posture has become a common issue in today’s sedentary lifestyle, often leading to back pain, fatigue, and long term health problems."
Verti is a posture correction system that helps users maintain healthy spinal alignment through intelligent feedback. At its core is a detachable sensor that can be worn either directly on the skin or over clothing. The sensor monitors the user's posture throughout the day and emits vibrations whenever slouching or misalignment is detected creating instant awareness.
The research phase focused on understanding the physical, psychological, and lifestyle factors that influence posture. The process began with informal interviews, gathering insights from students, office workers, and individuals experiencing chronic back pain in order to identify common posture related challenges in everyday life, to understanding body awareness and the long term effects of poor posture.

Verti includes a lightweight back corrector that provides direct physical support to guide the shoulders and upper spine into a healthier position.
The iterations refined the technical solution, focusing on essential functionality.
The CAD modeling allowed me to visualize and test the posture corrector's design in detail before prototyping. This step was crucial for identifying potential issues early and ensuring the haptic sensor would function correctly in the posture corrector.
Verti is designed for all day wear, it works during office work, exercise, and downtime. The system helps prevent back problems by catching poor posture early, before discomfort develops.

The adjustable strap securely fastens the posture corrector while letting you customize the training intensity.
Magnetic Locking System
The sensor securely attaches to the posture corrector through an integrated magnetic system. This allows tool-free placement and removal.
USB-C Charging
Charge easily with any USB-C cable just plug in and power up.
The app connects to the sensor via Bluetooth, showing the posture progress through daily, weekly, and monthly graphs. It also suggests simple exercises tailored to your needs, helping you improve your posture step by step.
